What is Acupuncture?

Does Acupuncture hurt?
Acupuncture needles are sterile, single use. During acupuncture you are still able to move your body, however patients are recommended to lie still and relaxed.
Acupuncture sensation can vary for everyone, most people will either feel a slight pinch when the needles are inserted followed by a slight dull or tingling sensation around the needle or some may feel no pain at all. Acupuncture is a relaxing and calming experience, some patients fall asleep during the treatment and become more energetic after their appointment.
