Jessica is a registered Acupuncturist & Chinese Medicine Practitioner, graduated with a double degree of Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Chinese Medicine) with Distinction. She studied in Nursing before becoming a Chinese Medicine Practitioner. Growing up in Australia in a heavily culturally oriented Chinese family, influenced her on to the path of becoming a Chinese Medicine Practitioner.

In practice, she believes in the holistic approach in Medicine and looking at the body as a unity and not disease itself. As well as the combination of Eastern and Western Medicine. She sees medicine as what can help an individual overcome their health problems and assist patients to achieve their optimal health.

"Treat the root and not just the symptom"

When Jessica is not with patients she focuses on continuous improvement in her knowledge and skills. She holds special interest in Gynaecology conditions, as well as in Internal Medicine and Pain Management.

She had the opportunity to work, intern and observe under Dr. Ling, practising scalp and navel acupuncture and gained experience on treating Neurology and Gynaecology conditions.

She is honoured to have work with and mentored by Dr. Duong in Dermatology and Internal Medicine conditions.

Jessica was taught by Master Chen during her visit to China, Xiamen a specialised Chinese Medicine Practitioner in Herbal Medicine, where she gain intensive training and knowledge from his wisdom of herbal medicine formulas and its applications in individual conditions.

Jessica’s grandfather is also an advocate of Chinese Medicine and during her journey to becoming a Chinese Medicine practitioner was greatly influenced and fore-shadowed by his wisdom in Chinese Medicine.

She believes our digestive system and our emotional health are the most important aspects of good health, when we cannot nourish our body in the way it needs it will not be able to provide the energy for our organs and our normal body functions, and that is where disease initiates.
